We recently stayed at a lodge that offered a clean, comfortable, and spacious chalet with ample parking space. the personal touch with bath towels and soap was a nice touch, making us feel welcomed. the location was tranquil and private, allowing us to enjoy peace and quiet. the staff, especially Charlene, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay, even assisting with late, night calls and courier services. the pool was great for a refreshing dip. the lodge's well, situated outdoor setting provided a perfect place to relax.
We did notice some signs of wear and tear in the interior, which could benefit from detailed maintenance. Some items like tattered lamp shades, old scatter cushions, and worn, out throws could be replaced to enhance the exclusive ambiance of the chalet/cottage.

From the easy check, in and check, out process to the spacious two, bedroom units, everything exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the individual outdoor showers for each room, which added a touch of nature to my stay. the lodge is located in a quiet and clean area, with easily accessible restaurants nearby. the housekeepers did a great job and even took care of the dishes. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to future travelers. Cons: No issues whatsoever. 👍.

It was clean, well-maintained, and provided a great space to relax and cool off in the hot weather. the location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.
There were a few issues with the facilities that could be improved. the kitchen was lacking some essential items such as scissors, oven mitts, and enough dishcloths.

The chalets offer an authentic bush experience with beautiful design and tranquil surroundings. We enjoyed meals on the deck and the well-equipped kitchen. Monkeys and bush pigs added to the natural charm.

The location was ideal, with safe walking areas to observe wildlife nearby. Our stay at Raptors Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The spacious accommodations were beautifully decorated and serviced with all the amenities we needed. We loved the full kitchen, braai area, and the luxury of having our own private swimming pool. The fact that there was no loadshedding was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to enjoy uninterrupted Netflix streaming after a long day of exploring. Another highlight was knowing that by staying at Raptors Lodge, we were indirectly supporting an anti-poaching unit. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this lodge for its authentic African decor, hospitality, and convenient location.
While our stay was fantastic, there were a few minor inconveniences. We found that there was a lack of additional blankets or firewood for sale, which would have been helpful in the chilly evenings.
